The Frank Withey Memorial Scholarship Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, and educational purposes; more specifically, to assist artists and art/music related programs and events in their educational, professional, and programmatic development and advancement, and to raise the appreciation for the arts in our community.
In the beginning, this Foundation will endeavor to raise funds to be given in scholarships to high school seniors who plan to continue their full time music education at the college and university level.
Recipients will be required to show acceptance into a college or university, with the intent to major in music. As the foundation grows, it is hoped to provide scholarships in the Fine Arts, primarily Painting and Sculpture, to high school seniors attending classes at the college and university level, with the intent to major in painting and/or sculpture.
Further growth of the Foundation, hopefully, will enable the Foundation to provide for lessons, instruments and supplies to gifted individuals of all ages in the community and to host and present events to raise funds, enabling the Foundation to supply deserving individuals the finances and/or supplies needed to further develop their talents. http://www.frankwitheyscholarshipfund.org/
