Albanian dance often contains themes of honor, loyalty, and courage. Albania has many regions and many different dances depending on the region. With that in mind the Bashkimi Group has prepared dances from most if not all of these different regions. In addition to all the different dances we have one dance that represents all Albanian lands. The name of this dance is "Mother Albania" where all Albanian sons and daughters from North and South dance and celebrate showing that all have one mother. That is Albania. The purpose of the Group is to keep Albanian culture alive in our hearts and in the hearts of Albanians everywhere.
