This March 16-18, Arlington Childrens Theater (ACT) takes to the Regent stage in its
production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapines award-winning musical, Into the
Woods, Jr. Featuring two complete casts of young people ages 7-17, this walk in the woods
begins innocently enough: with a wish. But add a spiteful witch, her curse on
the Baker and his Wife, toss in Cinderella, Jack (of beanstalk fame), Little Red
Ridinghood, Rapunzel and a host of other fairy tale charactersincluding a rather hungry
wolfand things quickly get out of hand in this poignant and hilarious production.
