It never ceases to amaze me, how a single idea, adopted and added to by friends, can grow beyond one's own expectations. Last week... Steve, Joe, Dave, and I realized that we needed to be on stage together again. Much to our surprise and gratitude, some of Brad's favorite vocalists from the area, who had their own special relationships with him, have, quite humbly, offered their own talents to help us put on a Beatlejuice concert for all of us connected with Brad in this special way.
This is proving to be quite the experience--listening to each of the performer's stories of Brad, as well as hearing their own renditions of the Beatles music. The four of us are so moved that they have allowed us to play together the music that Brad loved so much.
Every night, each of us have found some solace by reading the guest book entries that have been made about Brad. As we come together and share memories of our wonderful friend, we thought this would be a fitting forum for us to do what we can and to get together and see you all... to sing, cry, hopefully laugh a little and remember all that Brad has meant to each and every one of us.
This concert will feature Mike Girard, Buddy Bernard, Brian Maes, Gardner Berry, Lisa Guyer, Jimmy Rogers, Dave Stefanelli, Kimberley Dahme, Michael Troy, Pete Distefano, MaryBeth Maes, Charlie Farren, Bob Squires, Mike Greeley, Patty Barkas, Five O'clock Shadow, perhaps more, and of course Steve, Dave, Joe, and myself of Beatlejuice.
