An afternoon of Broadway songs and music, “A Musical Stroll Down Broadway,” will be presented live at the Regent Theatre in Arlington Sunday, June 22, at 2pm. This special matinee revue will feature Elaina Vrattos, Andrew Giordano, Katie Duff, and Ben Discipio, accompanied by Arlington pianist, Colleen Henry.

Over the last 20 years, actress and director, Waltham resident Elaina Vrattos, has won dozens of awards from the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres and the New England Theatre Conference, and was nominated for the Independent Reviewers Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1999. Known for her dynamic voice, Vrattos has also directed numerous plays and musicals and written several original works, including several for Disney.

Hailing from Burlington, Mass., but now a New York City resident, Andrew Giordano made his Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning musical Sunset Boulevard. He has played opposite Emmy Award-winning actress, Leslie Uggams in Terrance MacNally’s Tony Award-winning play, Master Class. Giordano is also an alumni of the international group Up With People and his television credits include All My Children, Saturday Night Live, and Spin City.

An accomplished vocalist, Quincy resident Katie Duff has been performing professionally in and around the Boston area for over ten years. Her credits include the Dillstar Productions of Joey and Maria’s Comedy Wedding and the Wake of Walter O’Malley, as well as The Witch’s Tale and The Haunted Fairy Tale created for Disney by Big Smile Productions.

Ben Discipio is pleased to be involved in his first performance at the Regent Theatre in Arlington. Having begun his career in the theater as a musical director, Ben was convinced at the age of 25, that he might be able to sing and enrolled in New England Conservatory's Opera Studio and his years on stage began. In the intervening years, some of his favorite leading roles have been Archie-The Secret Garden, Stone-City of Angels, Anthony-Sweeney Todd, Sam-Crossing Delancey, Terry-Side Show and Jekyll/Hyde-Jekyll and Hyde,the Musical, nominated in 2003 for the IRNE Award for Best Musical. More recently, he has been seen in BERLIN TO BROADWAY WITH KURT WEIL at the Gloucester Stage, and as Arthur in the professional premiere of Douglas J Conhen's THE GIG at The Lyric Stage Company of Boston.
