The town of Ware, Massachusetts, is like any other rural hamlet: young “adults” with little direction causing trouble, oversexed housewives seducing their daughter’s boy friends, crazy crack heads starting religious cults… just a quaint stop off Route 9.  The days seem to blend together with the young residents livening up their boring, post high school void with harmless debauchery.

 Steve Reynolds was filling his void with drugs until a vision of God inspired him on a crusade to recruit people into the Lord’s army. His preferred method for bringing about a spiritual awakening? Prayer. Or a crossbow. If one doesn’t work the other always does.  Things are going swimmingly for “Father” Reynolds and no one seems to mind his tendency to mix metaphors of the Old Testament with his favorite television show – Survivor. It is his disciples, however, that derail his train sending his master plan into a tailspin- and then the real killings begin.

That is when our young heroes, Jake, Holly, Sarah and Ray, jump into action in an attempt to save their own lives. A fatal game of cat and mouse ensues but not before Vincent (an internet poker addict and career criminal), Mrs. Donovan (MILF and a half with two scoops and a cherry), Robert (a violence obsessed homeless disciple), Darren (the leader of the anti-gang) and Gerard (hmmm. Not much to say about Gerard) take a shot at influencing the outcome.

Will our heroes be able to keep their minds off of sex and drugs long enough to find a way to survive? Will Fr. Reynolds reach his minions and save the sinners from their sins? Will the town of Ware ever be able to outlast this divine intervention? God only knows. www.divineinterventionfilm..com
