People would constantly tell Donny how strong his look was to Elvis. When Donny won a local Elvis contest in Texas, he then decided that he wanted to show his talent to all the fans that loved and respected the King. Donny has had the pleasure of meeting Elvis Presley's entourage and friends which included J.D. Sumner, George Klein, Al Dvorin, Joe Esposito, The Sweet Inspirations and more. He has had the opportunity to perform different venues with the Jordanaires. In October, 2004, Donny had the honor of being asked by the Family of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to perform for a Nascar party hosted by the drivers themselves and family. This was just one of many lst place winnings for Donny over the past few years. Another honor for Donny is that he was asked to perform at the 50th anniversary of Elvis returning to Tupelo. The event took place in June where again Donny will had the ultimate pleasure of performing with the Jordanaires in front of 14,000 people. Donny is the most sought out young Elvis tribute artist in the country and performs in casinos, theaters and festivals throughout the US and Internationally. He is a versatile performer with the ability to reenact each era of Elvis' life. From the early 50's years with his Gold Lame jacket and songs of the movie years, to the sexy, black leather, '68 Comeback years, to the swinging, legendary Vegas years. Donny maintains a performance of incredible authenticity. His incredible looks, singing, humbleness, charm and southern speaking voice will make you feel like you are with the King. An actor and singer-songwriter, Klush has recorded 2 CDs and performed with musicians and singers such as JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, The Jordanaires, Charlie Hodge, Myrna Smith, The Sweet Inspirations, and Joe Esposito.
