Comedy Gunslinger Mike McDonald and funnyman Paul Nardizzi join comic forces Saturday Night December 31st. to kick off the New Year at Arlington’s Regent Theatre. These nationally known comedians have appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Evening at the Improv. Mike McDonald has shared the stage with such comedic legends as Robin Williams, Drew Carey and Chris Rock. A two-time winner of television’s Ace Award, McDonald has appeared on HBO’s Downtown Productions, Showtime, A&E’s Comedy on the Road, Comic Strip Live, and the Comedy Channel. Recently Mike appeared on NESN for Charlie Moore’s Roughing It! Since 1994, McDonald has toured around the world with the USO, performing in such comic havens as Croatia, Haiti, Greenland and Kuwait. Boston area favorite Paul Nardizzi won the San Francisco Comedy Competition in 2000 and the Boston Comedy Festival in 2001 as best stand-up. Paul has written 3 Comedy sports books including 602 Reasons to be Ticked Off, and The Sarcastic Sports Trivia book,….Funny and Challenging Questions from the Dark Side of Sports. Paul’s terrific appearances have been seen on everything from Comedy Central to Late night with Conan O’Brien.
