DRUMMING ABOUT YOU
At this interactive, intergenerational hoot, you'll
get a DrumRide on some of the world's most joyous
songs and rhythms. Everyone is hands-on with BOB BLOOM's
huge and beautiful array of drums and percussion instruments. Bob faciitates participatory drumming sessions from The First Night
Celebration of Hartford to the Boston Children's Museum. He teaches
musical courses for children and for adults at The University of
Connecticut
and The Boston Center for Adult Education. Bob is certified as a"Master Teaching Artist" by The Connecticut Commission on the Arts,
and he served for over a decade as a faculty assistant to
Dr. Babatunde Olatunji for his "Language of the Drums" classes
at The Omega Institute.
