Award-winning children's entertainer Joannie Bartels' popularity reflects a personal commitment she believes in strongly sharing musical "magic" with children and adults of all ages. Bartels is the first female children’s artist to receive RIAA Gold Record Certification and she has sold over 3,000,000 audio recordings and 100,000 video recordings to date. Her song "Crazy Cajun Stomp" (co-written with Chris Rhyne) from Put On Your Dancing Shoes is a finalist in the 2004 International Songwriter's Competition in the Children's Music Category (to be announced in March 2005).
