Invisible Children: The Rough Cut

(Benefit Screening for Schools For School)

Friday November 9th at 7:30pm

$5 for students and $8 for general public.
(Tickets available at the door, or see below to reserve tickets in advance).

The Invisible Children organization started off when three young adults went to Africa to create a documentary on Sudan, however they became exposed to the horrors that the longest running war in Africa caused in the Nation of Uganda. They created their documentary Invisible Children : The Rough Cut, which started  a nation-wide outcry from many people. This film caused the nation to lead a march where people slept outside in the city at parks or other public places to get the attention of senators and congressmen to send help to the night commuters and Uganda, and it worked! http://www.invisiblechildren.com/theMovie/

This film is being screened to benefit a very dedicated group of students and Arlington High School and other participating high schools who are members of a club called Schools For School. Schools For Schools is club set up by Invisible Children to help raise money for schools in Uganda. The money that these clubs raise go straight to an account that goes to help built schools for all of the displaced children from the War. http://s4s.invisiblechildren.com/info
