“NAUGHTY OR NICE” HITS THE REGENT THIS CHRISTMAS!

Everybody has a favorite Christmas movie, whether it’s a classic like “It’s a Wonderful Life” or an offbeat holiday favorite like “A Christmas Story” or “Scrooged.” No matter what the preference, these yuletide films are a fundamental part of the way we all celebrate the holidays each year. We at Bjort Productions are very proud to announce a new entry into the Christmas movie genre, filmed entirely in Massachusetts, called “Naughty or Nice,” which will be in limited release this holiday season.
“Naughty or Nice” is an ensemble comedy-drama about a New England couple who invite ten of their friends and family members over for a Christmas party, and then must survive a night of confessions, adultery, fistfights, power outages, a blizzard, and--worst of all--Christmas caroling. The story focuses on the tense and joyful relationships that are rekindled when old friends gather. Ultimately it’s about the struggle to maintain the holiday spirit when you’re too old for Santa, and when life and its dysfunctions get in the way.

In the tradition of “Good Will Hunting,” this movie celebrates the Boston area, with a cast and crew from all over New England, and was filmed on location in Saugus, Lynn, Revere, and Stoughton, Massachusetts. As the debut full-length feature from Bjort Productions, “Naughty or Nice” was a labor of love for its producers, Stacey Cruwys, Tom Mariano, and Chris Tyrrell, and its ensemble cast: Bobby Baldassari, Scott Carney, Kevin Cirone, Cruwys, Mark DiSanzo, Nafisa Ford, Leona Ma, Mariano, Katherine Ryan, Rob Savage, Yemi Sekoni, and Ronnie White.
“Naughty or Nice” slides down the proverbial chimney at the Regent on December 4, 2005.
