“PW07” a backcountry skiing movie Please join the greater Boston backcountry skiing community for an early celebration of winter! Shown in the Regent Underground Theatre Wednesday October 17th at 7:30pm Tickets are $10 at the door raffle to follow the movie **First Prize – Jay Peak Season Pass** All proceeds to benefit the Big Jay Restoration Project PW07 is the Powderwhores' third movie. This year’s version is full of their amazing trademark backcountry skiing footage shot in the Wasatch, Kimberley, B.C., and Alaska's Chugach mountains. All proceeds from ticket sales and the raffle benefit the Green Mountain Club’s Big Jay Restoration Project which seeks to replant and restore an illegal ski trail made on Big Jay mountain this summer where more than 800 trees were cut. Big Jay is one of only two peaks above 3800' in Vermont which are not developed and is a habitat for species that are scarce in the Northeast. |
