Join Johnny and the Moondogs as they channel the vibe of the rock and roll both new and old.
Dan Foley is a consistent presence at the Regent having appeared many times with the fabulous duo, The Airborne Comedians; as a featured solo performer in our "Vaultaic Vaudeville" 90th Anniversary celebration in October, 2006; and most recently as Master of Ceremonies for the Regent's New England Premiere of "Sing-A-Long Mary Poppins" this past November.
The Legacy Dancers of The Dance Inn in Lexington is a professional dance company made up of energetic and enthusiastic young dancers who range in age from 10–18. Performances include a wide variety of dance styles from tap and jazz to musical theater. "I play in theaters all over the US and Europe, so I KNOW what
a treasure we have here in Arlington with the Regent. I want to do what
I can to keep the theater thriving because I want to be able to play
here and take my family to shows here for the rest of my life! Many people
don't realize what a unique venue this is: a 500-seat theater, small
enough to really feel intimate, right here in our neighborhood, near
a bunch of great restaurants--and they're programming everything from
classical music to folk and rock to New Vaudeville and kids' shows. This
is something we never want to lose!" |
