Please call for ticket info 781-646-4849 “Live at the Surf” will be a concert and multi-media salute hosted by legendary Boston radio personality, Arnie “Woo Woo” Ginsburg. The show will be headlined by The Remains—one of the most popular bands in Boston rock history, and will feature a very special performance by The Mods, one of the house bands at The Surf, in their first appearance since 1967. Also on the bill will be a “supergroup” assembled especially for the occasion, The Surf All-Stars, featuring Lenny Collins and Lenny Petze of the original Rhondells, Lenny Baker (ShaNaNa), Bobby Matulina, and Nicky Ladio of the original Pilgrims; Bobby “Jesse” Henderson of the Rockin’ Ramrods, Moulty of the Barbarians, Scott “The Cat” Anderson, Myles Connor, and Golden Joe Baker. The event will also include rare film and video clips, a slide show, and an exhibit area with posters and other memorabilia from the Surf era. |
