AN EVENING WITH VANILLA FUDGE
(featuring Tim Bogert and Carmine Appice)
Special Guest: STOCKLAN Saturday, September 11 at 8pm

Led Zeppelin opened for them. They served as an inspiration for countless musicians and icon bands including Deep Purple and Yes. They shared the stage with larger-than-life luminaries like Jimi Hendrix and The Byrds. This "Blue-Eyed Soul" Quartet burst onto the national Rock 'n Roll scene with their cover of the Supremes chart-topping hit, "You Keep Me Hangin' On." Released on the ATCO (a division of Atlantic Records) label, this single backed with "Take Me For A Little While" on the B-side, hit the top of the national charts soon after the release of their first album, Vanilla Fudge.
STOCKLAN is a three-piece moody, hard rock band who has become a mainstay in the Boston and New England markets. Brother’s Greg and Andrew grew up in the Boston area and have become two of the most recognizable musicians on the scene. After playing with numerous musicians over the past few years, they longed for the perfect chemistry to complete the band. A friend introduced them to an Orlando, FL native named Oz and STOCKLAN hasn’t looked back since. Having opened for numerous National acts most recently including Judas Priest, Poison and Godsmack, STOCKLAN has emerged as a reliable, respected and legitimate headliner in New England. Here are some quotes that sum up what STOCKLAN is all about: "STOCKLAN is a true Boston phenomenon. Flying in the face of today’s wimpy, alternative, sensitive-guy music…" – Dan Millen / Next of Kin STOCKLAN is an established Boston band whose hard rock music forges a unique style all their own. "…STOCKLAN rips through sound barriers…(Greg) Stocklan’s voice is full of raw energy and with the strength behind it, he is able to keep control over a vast vocal range." – Keith Harris / Northeast Performer "We’re hoping that if we give them a plug now, they’ll become our friends and invite us to some naked rock’n’roll parties in the future…" - Club Magazine / December ’99 "Oz’s 6 string bass playing is a cross between a Bach concerto caught in a Steve Vai whirlwind" - Louis Kissel / Bentley Vanguard "This band has their shit together." - Baker / Soundcheck Magazine "…drummer Andrew Stocklan, whose furious percussion and thick resonating beats fuel this engine." - Rev. Keith Harris / Northeast Performer "If these guys aren’t selling out arenas in the next few years, there is something seriously wrong with this industry." - J. Lianna Ness / Instant Magazine "…taking the Boston underground by storm," - Chris Concepcion / Babson Free Press "Their music, promotion and drive make the Stocklan brothers, Greg and Andrew, the most intimidating yet admirable tandem in the Boston underground." - Kerri MacArthur / Soundcheck "“These guys are on a level high above most bands…they work together like an intricate piece of machinery…" - Liz Weaver / Channel 30
