REQUEST FOR LISTING, COVERAGE PLEASE CONTACT: John Muzzy 781-933-7008 CONCERTS FOR BRAD DELP COMING TO ARLINGTON’S REGENT THEATRE MAY 3 & 4 Beatlejuice To Perform With Special Guest Vocalists For Family, Friends & Fans of Beloved Singer On Thursday May 3 and Friday May 4, 2007 at 8pm, The Regent Theatre in Arlington, Massachusetts will present In My Life—A Concert For Brad featuring Beatlejuice with special guests coming together in memory of longtime Beatlejuice and Boston lead singer, Brad Delp. Featured guest vocalists will include Mike Girard, Buddy Bernard, Brian Maes, Gardner Berry, Lisa Guyer, Jimmy Rogers, Dave Stefanelli, Kimberley Dahme, Michael Troy, Pete Distefano, MaryBeth Maes, Charlie Farren, Bob Squires, Mike Greeley, Patty Barkas, and Five O'clock Shadow. Says Beatlejuice drummer, John “Muzz” Muzzy, “It never ceases to amaze me how a single idea, adopted and added to by friends, can grow beyond one's own expectations. Last week, Steve [Baker], Joe [Holaday], Dave [Mitchell], and I realized that we needed to be on stage together again. Much to our surprise and gratitude, some of Brad's favorite vocalists from the area, who had their own special relationships with him, have, quite humbly, offered their own talents to help us put on a Beatlejuice concert for all of us connected with Brad in this special way.” As a kid, The Beatles were Delp’s inspiration. Over the past 14 years, Beatlejuice was his passion. “Love Is All You Need” could have been his mantra. Much has been written lately about how generous he was with his time and how much of himself he gave to others. “We’ve been so fortunate to have had Beatlejuice perform many times on the Regent stage—and to three generations of Beatles fans,” says the Regent’s Booking Manager, Leland Stein. “Each show was a special occasion, and Brad always took time to offer a moment of peace, prayer, and recognition to John Lennon and George Harrison. Now, it’s our chance to do the same for Brad.” “This is proving to be quite the experience—listening to each of the performer's stories of Brad, as well as hearing their own renditions of Beatles music,” says Muzz. “The four of us are so moved that they have allowed us to play the music that Brad loved so much. As we come together and share memories of our wonderful friend, we thought this would be a fitting forum for us to do what we can and to get together and see you all—to sing, cry, hopefully laugh a little, and remember all that Brad has meant to each and every one of us.” In My Life—A Concert For Brad will be presented at the historic Regent Theatre on Thursday and Friday May 3rd and 4th at 8pm. Reserved seats are $20 (including $1.50 restoration fee). Tickets (limited to four per person) go on sale Tuesday, April 10 at 12 Noon. Located at 7 Medford Street (off Mass. Ave.) in Arlington, Massachusetts, the Regent Theatre is MBTA and wheelchair accessible with free parking across the street.
