“
ROCK FOR THE AGES” CONCERTS COMING TO ARLINGTON
Matinee Series To Feature Top Area Bands Performing for Young Audiences
At Large Entertainment is pleased to announce a series of all ages music
concerts to be held the Regent Theatre in Arlington, Massachusetts. The
Sunday matinee Rock For The Ages series scheduled for May 18, June 15,
and July 13 at 1pm will feature some of the best rock bands from throughout
New England in a smoke and alcohol-free setting.
The four bands on the bill for the first show on Sunday, May 18 are Ravin
Klaim (2003 WBCN High School Battle of the Bands winner), Vague, Mekanism,
and September Twilight.
Co-Promoter Bill Perrier says, “We are pleased to be partnering
with the Regent Theatre in bringing live music to an age group—mainly
pre-teens and teenagers—that cannot regularly experience the excitement
and musicianship of the bands that will be performing in this concert
series. The Regent Theatre is a safe place for younger people to come
with their friends and have a great time.”
Co-Promoter Lionel Brown adds, “There is a huge underage crowd
in the Boston area and they have few outlets to experience live music
on weekends. Our desire is to provide the younger audience with what
they truly want: Live Rock and roll!”
The historic Regent Theatre is located at 7 Medford St. (just off Mass.
Ave.) in Arlington—just a few miles from Cambridge and Boston.
The theatre is wheelchair and MBTA accessible with plenty of free parking
nearby. Tickets for the Sunday matinee Rock For The Ages Series are $10
and can be purchased online, in person during regular box office hours,
or at the door the day of show. Doors open at 1pm. For tickets and more
information contact the Regent box office at 781-646-4TIX (4849)
