ARLINGTON'S REGENT THEATRE TO PRESENT SHARON KENNEDY'S HALLOWEEN STORIES
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 AT 2PM Grammy-nominated Storyteller Featured As Part
of Regent's Family Fun Series
Award-winning storyteller, Sharon Kennedy, will be telling
scary-but not too scary-Halloween tales Sunday afternoon, October 27
at 2pm at the Regent Theatre in Arlington. The performance is part of
the Regent's Family Fun series that debuted in September featuring a
wide variety of entertainment for school-age children and adults.
A Rounder Records recording artist, Kennedy's first Rounder release,
Irish Folktales for Children, received the 1996 Gold Award from
Parent's Choice magazine. Her second release, The Patchwork Quilt
and Other Stories from Around the World, won the 1998 Gold Award
and received a Grammy nomination. Kennedy has appeared on ABC-TV's Good
Morning, America! and was featured in Yankee magazine as one of "60

The historic Regent Theatre, "Arlington's Show Place of Entertainment," recently
launched its first full season of ongoing film, music, dance, and family
events under new owner, Gary Adelson. The Regent is located a few short
miles from Boston and Cambridge at 7 Medford Street, just of Mass. Ave.,
